Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the displaylab.tech website and any services offered by Display Lab, operated by Display Lab ("we", "us", "Display Lab"). By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of services
Display Lab provides professional audio-visual system integration services including but not limited to: LED video walls, control room solutions, meeting room AV, digital signage, interactive displays, and CCTV surveillance. Services are scoped on a per-project basis through a formal proposal and signed agreement.
Information presented on this website (including descriptions of solutions, processes, and timelines) is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer or commitment.
3. Project proposals and agreements
Each engagement is governed by a signed project agreement that includes scope of work, bill of materials, pricing, timeline, payment terms, and acceptance criteria. In the event of conflict between these Terms and a signed project agreement, the project agreement prevails.
Proposals are valid for thirty (30) days from issuance unless otherwise stated. Pricing is subject to currency fluctuation, supplier availability, and changes in import duties or taxes after this validity period.
4. Payment terms
Standard payment terms are specified in each project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the typical structure is an advance payment upon contract signing, milestone payments tied to delivery and installation, and final payment upon system acceptance.
Invoices are issued in compliance with ZATCA e-invoicing requirements. Late payments may incur charges as specified in the project agreement, in accordance with Saudi commercial law.
5. Warranty
Display Lab provides:
- Manufacturer warranty pass-through — equipment is covered by the original manufacturer's warranty for the period specified by that manufacturer, typically 12 to 36 months from project handover.
- Workmanship warranty — Display Lab warrants installation workmanship for 12 months from acceptance, covering defects in installation that are not attributable to the equipment itself.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, third-party interference, power surges outside manufacturer specifications, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.
6. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate site information and timely access for survey, installation, and support visits.
- Ensure the installation environment meets the technical specifications outlined in the project agreement (power, network, HVAC, structural).
- Designate an authorized representative for project decisions and acceptance.
- Maintain the systems in accordance with manufacturer and Display Lab guidance after handover.
- Pay invoices in accordance with agreed payment terms.
7. Intellectual property
All content on displaylab.tech — including text, images, diagrams, and design — is the property of Display Lab or its licensors and is protected under applicable Saudi and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Project deliverables (system designs, programming, configurations) are governed by the relevant project agreement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law, Display Lab's total liability under any engagement is limited to the total contract value of that specific engagement. Display Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of business, loss of data, or loss of revenue.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, pandemic, supplier failure, or shipping disruption. The affected party will notify the other promptly and use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of non-public information disclosed by the other party in the course of a project engagement. This obligation survives termination of the engagement for a period of five (5) years.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or to a project engagement will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the competent Saudi commercial courts in Riyadh, or to arbitration under the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration if both parties so agree in writing.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For active project engagements, the Terms in effect at the time the project agreement was signed remain applicable.
